Hello, my name is Laura, and I am the teacher of the Wurin (Wombat) Group, as well as the Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader for the Kindergarten. I hold a Bachelor of Education in both Primary and Early Years Education and have been a part of Apollo Parkways Preschool since 2019.
I am passionate about working closely with children and their families to cultivate the wonderful sense of community that makes Apollo Parkways Preschool so special. I believe that children thrive in nurturing environments where they are both supported and challenged. I strive to create a space that fosters emotional and social development, values cultural inclusivity, and engages families as active participants in their children’s learning journey.
Outside of my role at kinder, I am an enthusiastic gardener and love spending time outdoors with my family over the weekend. I have two daughters, who also attended Apollo Parkways Preschool when they were younger.
